What is Sensory Sprouts?
Sensory Sprouts is a fun, interactive workshop designed for children ages 6 months to 2 years to explore food, textures, and smells in a stress-free and enjoyable way. Through hands-on experiences, including messy play, food exposure activities, and language development, this class helps build positive connections around food while fostering curiosity and sensory exploration. Caregiver participation is encouraged to strengthen bonding and reinforce learning at home.
Protomaya Celebration
“Proto Maya” is a celebration in Greece welcoming the month of May! Greeks around the world create wreaths to hang on their front doors or around their house to celebrate the anticipation of Summer and warmer days! Families of all cultural backgrounds are welcome to come and decorate their own wreath to hang up from year to year!
Kids will enjoy working with flowers and enjoying the play space!
$60 per family(1 wreath per family)

Slime and Snapology At Puzzles Astoria
Join us for a heartwarming and creative celebration at our Science Festival as we honor the memory of a beloved child who touched our hearts, Stephan. This special event will feature exciting Snapology workshops where kids and families can build, learn, and explore the wonders of STEM through LEGO-based activities. Plus, we'll be making slime together—because who doesn't love the gooey fun of creating your very own slime?
This event is completely FREE, but we warmly welcome any donations to support future community events and to honor the memory of a child who will always be in our hearts.
